Debbie has been St. John's parish secretary and bookkeeper since 1991.  She has been married to Bruce Askins for 29 years.  They have one daughter, Sara, who was married to Jason Wilson in June 2013.  Bruce and Debbie have lived in Clinton since 1984.  They are very involved in parish life.  Debbie has been a member of St. John's Choir since 1991 and acted as Choir Director since 1995.  She also coordinates the music for parish funerals and sings with the Funeral Choir.  Bruce serves as a Eucharistic Minister and Greeter/Usher.  They volunteer to help with most parish functions and also teach dog obedience classes with the Dewitt County 4-H program.
